Mini-Project #1: Environmental Organizations

I recently joined the Wild Spots Foundation and am especially proud to have become a member of this non-profit organization. This organization is dedicated to the promotion and protection of biodiversity. What is biodiversity? According to E.O. Wilson, eminent researcher and Harvard ecologist, biodiversity means all of the variety of life on earth organized in three principal levels: the variety of ecosystems, the variety of species, and the variety of genes within the individual species. Our ecosystem is the aorta of this planet. If it ruptures, Earth will be forever changed and we owe it to our children and our children's children to make a stand today and learn about our fragile ecosystem.
